ACTOR DRIVEN | TRAUMA INFORMED | CONSENT FORWARD
I am a multi-hyphenate storyteller. I am a full time working Actor & Coach and I strive to cultivate equitable and brave spaces within the theatre and film community.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Music from Saint Martin's University and am a graduate of The Pacific Conservatory of The Performing Arts.
With over 15 years of professional experience in film, television, theatre, and commercials, I’ve had the privilege of performing in regional productions such as These Shining Lives at the Studio Theatre Tierra Del Sol, Cinderella at Orlando Repertory Theatre, Ugly Lies the Bone at the Garden Theatre, The Thanksgiving Play at Urbanite Theatre, In the Time of the Butterflies at Stageworks Theatre, The Hundred Dresses at Lexington Children’s Theatre, and Merchant of Venice at Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival. My film credits include: 12 Days with God (Pure Flix), Big Time Adolescence (Hulu), Todd (SFN Productions), Yoga Mat Chats (Quietly Bold Films). I am a SAG-AFTRA Eligible actor represented by Brevard Talent Group.
For over a decade, I’ve taught a variety of courses in on-camera acting, script analysis, audition technique, Shakespeare, writing, musical theatre, and movement. My approach is rooted in Trauma-Informed practices that honor each actor's boundaries and agency. My training includes working with Intimacy Directors & Coordinators and Theatrical Intimacy Education coupled with on-going training in Consent Forward Practices, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), power dynamics, anti-racism, unconscious bias, and boundary practices. Additionally, I am certified in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Wellbeing and currently a fellow with Open Intimacy Creatives.
My extensive background in script analysis and process work informs my personal methodology which integrates techniques from Stanisklavski, Uta Hagen, Grotowski, Anne Bogart, Laban, Meisner, and much more. I believe that there is no one 'right way' to engage in our work as actors, and that The most exciting choices emerge when we are free to explore, get on our feet, and play. I emphasize honoring each actor's instincts and discovering where the text resides in the breath and body. My goal is to help actors find connection and full body listening through physical exploration, improvisation, imaginative work, vocal technique and environment work.
I believe that every actor's path is different. As a coach, I view it as my role to support an actor's career by providing tools that ensure their materials authentically reflect who they are and showcase their strengths as performers. I believe that actors are first and foremost, storytellers - and each with a story that only they can tell. And I am forever grateful to be a part of that journey.
